Does Conservfuel switch to E70 during winter time??

I’m using your E85 as a economical alternative Performance Race Fuel since VP Racing Fuels C16 cost around $13/gallon. My car is tuned from E85 purchased from your station around July 2008 and i’m assuming the E85 you had at the time is truly 85% ethanol. As its becoming closer to winter time, do you guys switch to an ethanol mix lower than E85 such as E70 or something similar? Please let me know as i’m running a significant amount of turbo boost and ignition timing and i would rather not have my engine blow up due to seasonal changes in ethanol blends. If you are running E70 during winter time, I can simply retune for the E70 fuel, but i have no way of knowing which blend you guys are using.

THanks!

Green Muscle Project- On the way to Convert my Gas Guzzling Camaro Z28 to run on Ethanol

I plan on converting my Camaro to run on ethanol- has anyone ever heard of this being done to a Camaro before??

I have felt burdened by this car’s consumption and its negative effects on the environment so I feel like the best thing to do is convert it to ethanol. I hear that the benefits are great as well!!! Conserv Fuel will be my fueling station after the completion of the conversion.

I will be completing my research soon and hopefully be running E85 within a month from now. I will be posting more information on this Green Muscle Car Project in the coming weeks.

E85 is finally here!

As most of you know, Conserv Fuel began selling E85 in December of 2007. Jumping through all of the regulatory hoops was a massive undertaking which required a significant amount of both time and money. In spite of the obstacles we faced, our desire to bring alternative fuels to the mainstream motivated us to forge ahead and claim the position of the second E85 pump in the state of California.

Conserv Fuel hopes that by helping pave the way for our E85 pump, other stations will be encouraged to follow down our same path of making biofuels available to the general public. We would like for the customer to know that we realize that ethanol is a controversial fuel, yet we feel that it’s important that California motorists have access to it. We are trying to source our ethanol from the most sustainable source, yet being a brand new fuel is this state, our supply sources are very limited. Please realize that no fuel is perfect, especially not this first generation of biofuels, yet we believe that it represents a first and crucial step towards a better future.

I’ve been waiting for an ethanol pump to open up anywhere near West Hollywood. Finally, Conserv Fuel will be selling it soon. I can’t wait to get some Karma back for purchasing a Flex Fuel Chevy Tahoe. Any idea when the ethanol pumps will make their debut? I just keep hearing or reading “soon.”
